The original LineWars was coded in 1988 and released in 1989. The most "recent" version 1.52 can be found from PC-SIG disk #1762.
LineWars II was released as ShareWare by Safari Software (which is a subsidiary of Epic MegaGames) during September 1994.
LineWarsDS is a Nintendo DS port of LineWars II. I am currently working on it, and it should be relased in the summer of 2009.
